Cardiff City understand their 3-0 home defeat against Spurs means little in their chase for Premier League survival.
The Bluebirds were outclassed by Harry Kane and Co, but the biggest tests come against Huddersfield at home and Newcastle away later this month.
Spurs carried far too much firepower, but Warnock’s men are already focused on this next two fixtures.
those next couple of clashes could prove crucial.
Former Cardiff and Wales defender Gabbidon said: “It was a thoroughly efficient job by Tottenham. They will be delighted with the result.
“They are in the title race. It’ll be difficult because they’re still in Champions League and have to juggle other competitions.”
City are three points outside the Premier League relegation zone and Warnock said: “We fight on. If you’d have said we’d get four points from these three games over the Christmas period, including two tough away trips, we’d have taken that really.
“”We had to stick at our task for the crowd. They were magnificent, their support was amazing.
“We are disappointed because we didn’t give ourselves any chance with the goals we conceded.
“We’ll come out fighting again and I believe we can get better in the second half of the season.
“We’ve had a great season so far.”
Mauricio Pochettino enjoyed this Tottenham performance and said: “We were so relaxed and kept calm, it was so important. We showed Wolves was just an accident.
“It’s a crazy fixture (list). We need to believe more in us. We are in a process of doing fantastic things.”
Cardiff have now lost all 15 matches the Premier League’s big six sides and conceded 48 goals in the process, 25 of which had come in their six defeats this season.
It was hardly a surprise, therefore, that the Bluebirds were cut to ribbons by Spurs.
Warnock made one change to the staring line-up at Leicester with Bobby Decordova-Reid stepping in for Junior Hoilett.

Spurs scored a fortunate first when captain Sean Morrison was deflected into the net off Kane’s knee after two minutes.
Christian Eriksen made it 2-0 when he scored from a shot outside the penalty area after 12 minutes and Son Heung-Min slotted the third on 26 minutes.
“We were lucky with the first goal and afterwards we had the ball for the rest of the game,” said Erikssen. “We put pressure on everybody and took pressure off ourselves.”
The Bluebirds, though, are working to stay upbeat as they prepare for Saturday’s FA Cup trip to Gillingham and Harry Arter say: “It’s a credit to us that we are in a position where we can control our own destiny. As the fixtures come thick and fast you have to make sure you stay above the bottom three. We need to try and outwork teams. That’s the way we can get results.”
