Player Ratings – Crystal Palace 0, Cardiff City 0

Player of the season so far. Kept City in the game with some excellent saves. Cool, composed, able to make reflect saves and his distribution  has improved under the guidance of goalkeeping coach Andy Dibble 7

Lee Peltier

A first start since September and he was a little rusty from the start. Grew into the game and for me should be given  run. His presence allowed Manga to join Morrison in the middle with Bamba in a defensive midfield role 7

Man of the Match – Bruno Manga

http://gty.im/1074978902

Switched to his more natural centre-back position in a there-man unit alongside Morrison and Bamba. The back five looked far more balanced for me. Manga produced a magnificent tackle to stop Zaha after he burst past Bamba, racing across to tackle with venom and perfect timing just as Zaha was about to shoot. Watch it on Match of the Day 8

Sean Morrison (capt)

You know exactly what Mozza will give the team. Organises those around him, challenges for everything on the ground and in the air. Fearless in the challenge. I just wish he could find the confidence in those attacking areas – he was excellent at set pieces last season 6

Sol Bamba

http://gty.im/1075162406

A leader of men. Organised those around him and told them with authority what he wanted. Sol is another player City are able to rely on in the main. Big challenges, huge interceptions and a competitive edge second to none 6

Joe Bennett

Did a decent job against McArthur and the excellent Zaha. For all his qualities, Zaha grew kore and more frustrated when Cardiff would not succumb to his undoubted skill. Linked well with Harris down the left. Had a spell of pushing and shoving with Zaha – both were warned by the referee 6

Kadeem Harris

http://gty.im/1054171144

Had a golden opportunity during the second half, a smash and grab raid when Harris reacted first and was denied by a brilliant Vicente Guaita save from eight years. I enjoy watching Kads, who has pace and enthusiasm  7

Victor Camarasa

http://gty.im/1074978482

The Spanish playmaker is enjoying himself in the Premier League. He organised things, stayed  composed. Looks the part. Made way for Gunnarsson during injury time. No wonder other Premier League clubs are watching him closely 7

Joe Ralls

http://gty.im/1074978236

Good to see his energy, commitment and resilience in Cardiff’s midfield. Low on confidence right now, but Ralls has the heart of a lion and will work hard until he is back to his best 6

Junior Hoilett

http://gty.im/1075108552

We’ve had glimpses of Hoilett’s best form this season, but no more. Struggles for consistency in terms of creativity, delivery. Has to keep working – he could play a massive part in the rest of this season 6

Bobby Decordova-Reid

http://gty.im/1074939804

There was no Zohore or Ward in the match, while Madine was among the substitutes. Decordova-Reid was asked to lead the attack and he played with enthusiasm and a work ethic which showed he is up for the fight. Another should should be given a run of games. He’s up for this, no doubt about it 6
