No new players in. No new contracts signed. But we did get to see a drone’s eye view of the new kit. Let’s start with the shirt.
So, “It’s landing”, apparently. Some teams see their kits released. The bigger clubs have their kits drop. But Cardiff City are so important in the world of football now, that their kit lands. The sneak preview shows us a Bluebird on the collar, stripes returning to the shoulders and not a lot else.

The next tweet was from above and appears to confirm the shorts will be blue again. When Vincent Tan decided the club would go back to blue he clearly meant nothing but blue.
One week to go…

Speaking of shirts, Lee Peltier has put his in a frame with his promotion medal. We approve, Lee. Save room for a Premier League winners one next summer and a Champions League one the year after that.

The World Cup rumbled on, with England winning it twice in the space of week. Poor NML wanted to show his support and ended up getting hit with a load of replies from City fans who told hi he was actually Welsh now.
Cmonnnnn England

In case you’re wondering where Andy Campbell’s loyalties lie, you now know. Although we’re not sure this would stand up to the scrutiny of the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are.
51% English and 49% Welsh https://t.co/PDLlawF68v

If you were enjoying the World Cup last week you were wrong. Gavin Rae says so.
This is a rubbish World Cup. The one in South Africa with all the defending was better!

Finally, City fan Billy Aitken became an undisputed legend by getting this tattoo done. For his efforts he got retweeted by the club and by Callun Paterson himself. Although nothing compares to being featured on VTFN.
@Callump7 as promised. sums up the 17/18 season. My boy will be over the moon his favourite player on my leg #cityasone pic.twitter.com/wj3HDHzmQI
