Cardiff City round off an amazing week by revealing the new away kit. It goes on sale on 14 July and here’s what we think about it.

For my money this is the nicest away kit that Cardiff City have had in many a year and whilst I liked last seasons green steward-like jersey enough to buy one, this season’s silver and blue offering blows it out of the water.I’m normally too tight to splash out on a new kit and risk waiting for the end-of-season bargains to appear but on this occasion I think I may well bite the bullet and pay the extra for, what is my opinion, one of the best kits we’ve had in years, yet another positive PR exercise in this years summer of love.Scott Salter
When I first saw the teaser of this kit, I was unsure of the colour being so close to white. I’d usually choose for us avoid this colour in an away kit – there’s a Championship side down West that wear white, you see.
Seeing this in full now alleviates those fears. It’s bloody beautiful. Calling it silver is a nice touch and I can’t wait to see us rocking this. I wasn’t too much of a fan of last season’s kits, but this season we have smashed it out of the park. I much prefer a round-neck on a shirt so I’m tempted to go for this over the home kit. Premier League, positive signings and now some lovely kits. It’s all going well. Ben Isaacs
Oof, this is yet another sweet kit. There were a few grumblings about a ‘boring’ white shirt when the first pic leaked a week ago but it seems that image was a little misleading. It’s silver and blue instead, reminiscent of the Dallas Cowboys or Detroit Lions. As Ben James predicted, it’s the Aberdeen template but much, much cooler. It’s a big improvement on the solar green away that has now become the third and won’t look out of place in the Premier League. If I’ve got one quibble about this beauty it’s that I’m not 100% that the shorts match as well as I’d like but we’ll need to see that on the pitch to really make a judgement. Another blinder for City. The home shirt, Junior, Smithies, Reid now this. Incredible week.Nathan Walker
I think that’s just secured Cardiff’s safety. I mean, you can’t go down with an away kit like that surely? It’s fitting of the Premier League. The away number is always intriguing, due to the seemingly ever-changing colour, but I think they’ve done extremely well this year. Will it beat my favourite away kit (2010/11)? I think it just might. Seeing the likes of Bobby Reid in it will do it no harm.
